A warm and hearty welcome to the 6th AP State Medical Education Conference to be held on at Visakhapatnam.
We are
extremely happy that this State Conference on Medical Education which had its
maiden edition in this city is back here – also coinciding to be the first to
be held in the state after bifurcation.
Let us all
join brains, hands and hearts together, to make this meet a success. We hope
that, through this conference, we will all have a valuable forum to exchange,
debate and discuss our views, and share our experiences on educational
research, instructional technology and the science and art of pedagogic
methodology.
The
conference would include the right mix of research papers & posters, guest
lectures, debates, viewpoints, workshops and quizzes.
The research paper
section would have an ‘Award’ section (with two medals – one for faculty &
one for students) and a ‘Free’ section (which too would have prizes). In all these platform presentations - Presentation would be for 7 min. and questions for 2-3 min.
Non-research topics would be included in the "Viewpoints" section.

The
poster section would have two sections – one for faculty and one for students
and both would have prizes.
All the papers received would be scrutinised by a jury and papers selected for the Awards Section and "Free Paper" section. If there are too many papers some of the Free Papers may be requested to be changed to Poster format or e-presentation (auto slide show for 5 min - with an optional recorded narration).
POSTERS - we would encourage you to use paper- chart based posters (as flexis are environmentally hazardous, being non-biodegradable). or you could take printouts on A-4 size papers and paste them on a chart paper of the size of 4feet height & 3 feet width.
A new prize is being planned for the best rapporteur of the day and one for the best question of the day.

the Award Section (one for faculty & one for students) the full paper must
be sent by 20th June 2016.
v Papers
received after 20th June and those where only abstracts are sent will
be placed in the Free Paper Section – there are prizes here too.
v If too many
papers are received, the best will be selected for the Award Section and the others would be placed in the Free Paper
section.
v If papers are many, some may be asked to change to
other modes of presentation – “auto-slide-show presentations” (for 5 min) or

Only those full papers and posters received before June 20th 2016 would be placed in the Award Paper section.
Papers & posters received on or after June 21st 2016 and those papers for which only abstract & NOT full paper are submitted would be placed in the Free Paper / Poster section - of course, there would be prizes in this section too!!
Papers / posters received on the date of the conference may be included (the judges' / organisers' decision would be final) strictly subject to availability.

to be a successful and meaningful exchange of recent advances in educational
science and pedagogic techniques, we need the attendance and active

at very nominal rates to ensure easy and affordable attendance by a larger
number of delegates, including residents and students.
